Roorkee Adventist College  (RAC) is one of the six degree colleges operating in the Southern Asia Division of Seventh-day Adventists. This is the only Adventist College in the northern part of India.  The College has been affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal, Srinagar since September 2006.  Earlier, it was a Academic Centre of Allahabad Agriculture Institute-Deemed University. Henceforth, all  the degrees and associate degrees will be awarded by H.N.B. Garhwal University. Roorkee Adventist College is also accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Southern Asia Division of Seventh-day Adventists. It is also recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand, India.

All the students are required to carry their current Identity Card/Hall Ticket into the examination hall. Any material prohibited by the college administration like books, papers, instruments boxes, ladies bags, calculators etc taken into the hall must be approved and subjected to inspection. Students who are found to be using unfair means during an examination will be dealt in the following way

1. She/he will be immediately barred from proceeding with that examination and from taking any subsequent examination during that examination period.

2. The student will also be debarred from attending the College for at least one semester. Using unlawful or unfair means to improve grades is a very serious offence.
